Here you will find information about the regional safety representatives (regionale verneombud – RVO) in the accommodation, food service and cleaning industries.
This scheme was established in 2013 by the government, in cooperation with representative organisations for employers and employees.
The purpose of the scheme is to contribute to the establishment and improvement of a safety service in small and medium sized businesses. The regional safety representatives provide advice and guidance on systematic work on occupational safety and health (OSH).
The legal basis for the scheme and the fee is governed by two sets of regulations under the Working Environment Act:
